Concerned and Calm

How do you emphasize that something is urgent or important?

You simply say it is, you say it in a different tone or you just keep saying it.

The past few weeks have been pretty reflective, looking at all that’s happening around the world.

I’ve gone from wanting to know to what’s happening, to being tired of hearing what’s happening, as everyone essay writers seems to want to force it down my throat in the spirit of being helpful. I can’t blame them, that’s what family and friends do for each other.

As a Christian, I can’t help but think about how in times like this I’m reminded that the essence of the Christian faith is to trust God. It’s easy to get carried away…

This is a good test of the foundation on which I’ve built my life on

The Foundation on which you build your life is the only thing that will stand when the storms of life ultimately come, and they will come. It’s not a question of If but when…

I consider thinking of all the times He has intervened and how He’s even intervening now a better use of my time.

“I think the biggest shock that awaits us is [getting to know] how often he intervened and we never knew it.”

— Ravi Zacharias

Here’s what I’m learning from this situation:

It’s possible to be concerned and calm.

It’s possible to be helpful without panicking

It’s possible to be comforted in the midst of all the chaos.
