How should we pursue success in the Light of Eternity?

How should we pursue success considering the fact that there is Eternity?

What is true success?  What would matter even in Eternity?

Success in Light of Eternity is fulfilling purpose. So since purpose is knowing God and letting him be known to others, that should be our benchmark for success.

Purpose: The reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.

To know Christ

To understand the love of God and be transformed gradually into his image. Only when we know Christ can we reflect his image.

I can’t afford to have a thought in my head about me that He doesn’t have in His head about me.

To make him known

To share your faith with others. To express the love of Christ and be a reflection of his image to others.

Arrrgh! But what about Building stuff that matters, Leading a movement, Giving to the poor, Becoming influential, Helping other people to maximize their potentials? Everything should still point to making him known, after all God is love ?

Sharing the heart ♥ of the Father with others.

People will abandon everything inferior if they can but taste and see from the authentic Gospel of the Kingdom.

To know Christ and to make him known.

In doing what is main ( To know Christ and make him known) , you will seek the mortal good of others as well, but no matter how great a mortal good, it never surpasses the main, that’s why the first explanation can be given in isolation and it yet suffices.

Like John said, you can’t say you love God and not love your brother, James said, when a brother is in need, you minister to that need, not just praying for him when you can be a solution to that need.
